SoundCloud has launched the SoundCloud Store to offer artists a new way of monetizing their music, while enabling fans to really show their support.
The SoundCloud Store offers a dedicated platform for artists subscribing to the Next Pro offer, enabling them to design and sell exclusive merchandise directly to their fans. This initiative is particularly advantageous for artists looking to generate additional revenue without diverting attention from their music. Indeed, SoundCloud has focused on simplifying the process for artists, taking charge of the entire production and sale of products. In this way, artists can concentrate on creating their music, while the logistical management of merchandising is handled entirely by the platform.
100% of the profits generated by the sale of merchandise go directly back to the artists. Unlike other platforms, where fees or commissions are often charged, SoundCloud ensures that creators receive 100% of the profits, representing a significant opportunity to diversify their revenue streams.
The SoundCloud Store is currently available in the United States, the European Union and Canada. SoundCloud plans to rapidly extend the availability of this feature to other territories, opening the door to a global market for artists.
